About Cameroonian American Mutual

We're for social causes

We exist to empower and unite Cameroonian immigrants, refugees, other community groups in need, women, and children who are oppressed in Africa.

Cameroonian America Mutual aims to foster a good spirit of community and fraternity among Cameroonian immigrants as together we are stronger. We also help other African immigrants, and refugees succeed with their integration into the USA as well as women and children in those countries to become economically independent.

Our History

Camut was first founded in Quaker Hill, Connecticut in 2018 but was not operating until is was taken over by the visionary new president, Diane Zouabet Tchaya, a native of Cameroon, to help empower and unite Cameroonian immigrants, support the vast needs of new refugee arrivals who had experienced the traumas of civil war, as well as oppressed women and children in Africa to become economically independent.

Since then, the organization’s mission has been expanded to include all vulnerable and underserved people.
